 *   FCC NPRM on E-Rate Program Revisions – Filed Comments.  Numerous applicants, service providers, and organizations filed comments on the FCC’s proposed changes to the E-rate program.
 *   FCC Rulings on Late-Filed Form 471s.  The FCC released a decision last week granting 97 requests, and denying 160 others, seeking relief for late-filed applications.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  Wave 8 for FY 2010 will be released this week.  Comments on proposed revisions to Form 470 and Form 471 are due July 30th.  The FCC is being “Astroturfed” with comments supporting the eligibility of Web hosting.  Registration is still open for most of the SLD’s fall training workshops.
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated July 9 – HATS Visits.  The SLD reviewed its targeted applicant outreach program.
