 *   Funding Status. Wave 6 for FY 2010 will be released this week.
 *   FCC NPRM on E-Rate Program Revisions – Dark Fiber.  Both the NPRM and the associated ESL proceedings propose to make the leasing of dark fiber eligible for E-rate discounts.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  E-rate NPRM comments are due July 9.  Available spots at the SLD’s eight fall training workshops, beginning September 30th, are no longer open in Washington DC and Los Angeles.  Two more individuals have been barred from the E-rate program.
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated June 18 – Summer activities for Vendors.  The SLD lists and discusses ten activities that service providers need to be aware of for this summer.
