 *   FY 2009 Funding Status. Funding Wave 45 for FY 2009 will be released this week.
 *   FCC National Broadband Plan.  The FCC’s extensive National Broadband Plan was released last week.  From an E-rate perspective, the Plan is designed to increase flexibility and bandwidth, foster innovation with pilot programs, improve connectivity to community colleges, provide additional funding, and improve program efficiency.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  Applicants receiving Form 471 “No Certs” letters must respond by March 30th. Comments on the FCC’s proposed rules to permit community usage of school Internet facilities are due April 5th.  .
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated March 19 – PIA Review.  Overview of the basic Program Integrity Assurance (“PIA”) process.
