 *   Funding Status. Funding Wave 46 for FY 2009 will be released this week. Two “lettered” waves, 80A and 80B for FY 2008, were issued earlier this month.
 *   Audit Outlook: 2010-2011.  Preliminary indications point to more, but less burdensome, E-rate audits beginning in the second half of 2010.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  Applicants receiving Form 471 “No Certs” letters must respond by March 30th. Comments on the FCC’s proposed rules to permit community usage of school Internet facilities are due April 5th.  The DOJ has reached an agreement with Houston ISD under the False Claims Act.  SLD service provider training sessions have been scheduled in May in Los Angeles and Tampa.
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated March 26 – Form 471 Status.  Review of the use of the SLD’s Application Status tool.
