 *   Funding Status. Funding Wave 53 for FY 2009 will be released this week. The SLD has received the necessary FCC approval and should announce the release of Wave 1 for FY 2010 later this week..
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.
    *   FCC expected to release E-rate Order and NPRM on May 20th.
    *   SLD online database problems will hopefully be resolved this week.
    *   House communications subcommittee held the fourth in a series of hearings on the National Broadband Plan
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated May 14th – Commitment Searches.  The latest News Brief reviews the use of its Automated Search of Commitments tool.
