 *   Funding Status.  Wave 90 for FY 2009, Wave 61 for FY 2010, and Wave 8 for FY 2011 are scheduled for this week.  USAC estimated that there is $1.1 billion in funds roll-over;  the FCC must now decide whether to allocate this all to FY 2011 or to spread it over 2-3 funding years.
 *   Black Holes and COMADs.  SECA filed an important white paper with the FCC highlighting black hole and COMAD issues and recommending relief procedures.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  USAC has asked the FCC for additional guidance on the new gift rules.  Recent PIA inquiries indicate a tightening of allowable application corrections for clerical and ministerial errors.
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated August 5.  Last week's News Brief provides tips to service providers needing.to update their Form 498 information.
