 *   Funding Status.  The first funding wave for FY 2011 and Wave 53 for FY 2010 are scheduled for this week.
 *   Lakehills COMAD and Black Hole Appeal.  Lakehills Consulting, a bankrupt service provider that had acquired troubled contracts of another service provider for Houston ISD, filed an interesting appeal seeking relief from $62 million in COMADs and the withholding of payment on $20 million in invoices.
 *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The SLD's online Form 486 filing system has been updated for FY 2011 use.  Four of the SLD's fall applicant training sessions are already available only on a waiting list basis.
 *   Schools and Libraries News Brief dated June 17.  Last week's News discusses the Form 486 filing process
