  *   Funding Status.  The application window for FY 2012 opened January 9 and close March 20, 2012.  Wave 34 for FY 2011 and Wave 85 for FY 2010 will be released this week.
  *   Priority 1 Eligibility Creep.  At least one VoIP provider is promoting bundled telephone sets as fully E-rate eligible.  The FCC's position on this stance is currently unclear, but could be precedent setting.
  *   Low-Income, E-Rate, and Digital Literacy.  An FCC order designed to modernize the Low-Income program includes a proposal to administer a digital literacy training program through E-rate.
  *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The SLD plans to make an increased use of "Under Review" status on FCDLs issued over the next few months.  Another individual has been sentenced to jail for E-rate fraud.
  *   Schools and Libraries Special News Brief Dated February 10.  The SLD latest News Brief reviews some of the information required on Form 471 applications.
