  *   Funding Status.  The application window for FY 2012 opened January 9 and close March 20, 2012.  The last possible day to file a valid Form 470 for FY 2012 is February 21st.  Wave 35 for FY 2011 and Wave 86 for FY 2010 will be released this week.
  *   FCC Competitive Bidding Appeal Decisions.  The FCC approved appeals for 27 applicants for alleged gift violations incurred before the FCC enacted gift rules, but denied appeals of one applicant who engaged in numerous discussions with a vendor prior to or during the competitive bidding process.
  *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The FCC extended the service delivery deadline for many of the participants in the EDU2011 wireless Internet pilot program to provide a full 12 months of funding support
  *   Schools and Libraries News Brief Dated February 17.  The SLD latest News Brief includes a series of questions and answers on Form 470s and the competitive bidding process.
