  *   Funding Status.  Funding waves for the last three years, FY 2010 to FY 2012, will be released this week.  USAC has notified the FCC that it believes funding will be available to fund Priority 2 requests at the 90% level for FY 2012, pending FCC approval.
  *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  SECA filed early ESL comments with the FCC urging simplification of the filing categories; all initial comments are due August 6th.  Five of the eight SLD training sessions this fall are full.  USAC requests FRN identification on the return of funds.  FCC reply comments on VPN remote access are due July 23rd.
  *   Schools and Libraries News Brief Dated July 13.  The SLD's latest News Brief discusses USAC procedures regarding USAC and FCC appeal decisions.
