  *   Funding Status.  Funding waves for FY 2011 and FY 2012 will be released this week.  The FCC has rolled over $1.05 billion of additional funds into FY 2012.  USAC believes that this amount will be sufficient to fund Priority 2 requests at the 90% level for FY 2012.
  *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The FCC issued one appeals decision affecting six applicants.  Two FCC comment deadlines are approaching: June 25th for clarification re. remote VPN access, and August 6th re. the FY 2013 draft ESL.  [Regional NCDPI training sessions have been scheduled for October.]
  *   Schools and Libraries News Brief Dated July 20.  The SLD's latest News Brief discusses the eligibility and timing of BMIC services.
