  *   Funding Status.  Funding waves for FY 2011 and FY 2012 will be released this week.  USAC is preparing to recommend to the FCC that the final thresholds for Priority 2 be set at 90% for FY 2012 and 88% for FY 2011.
  *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The FCC issued four appeal decisions affecting 23 applicants.  August 6th is the FCC comment deadline for the FY 2013 draft ESL and the reply comment deadline for remote VPN access.
  *   Schools and Libraries News Brief Dated July 27.  The SLD's latest News Brief provides tips of filing USAC and FCC appeals.
