  *   Funding Status.  Wave 47 for FY 2011 will be released this week.  Hopefully, the first wave for FY 2012 will be released this month.
  *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The FCC released one new E-rate appeal order granting, in part, specific Item 21 attachment denials for FY 2011.  The deadline for complying with the new CIPA requirements, and for updating expiring tech plan approvals, is July 1st.  The SLD continues to experience system problems affecting DRT data as well as Form 486 and invoicing notifications.
  *   Schools and Libraries News Brief Dated June 1.  The SLD's latest News Brief provides summer activity tips for applicants.
