  *   Funding Status.  Wave 50 for FY 2011 will be released this week.  The first wave for FY 2012is expected to be released this next week.
  *   FCC Seeks Comment on VPN Remote Access. The FCC is seeking comments on a SETDA petition asking for clarification on the eligibility of VPN equipment to support remote access by students and staff.
  *   July 1st CIPA Deadline. The deadline for revising Internet safety policies to incorporate an educational component is next week.  USAC is already asking for documentation in Selective Reviews.  Many states already have legislation governing cyberbullying.
  *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The FCC released three new E-rate appeal orders.  The SLD continues to experience intermittent system problems affecting.
  *   Schools and Libraries News Brief Dated June 22.  The SLD's latest News Brief provides additional information on CIPA compliance and the July 1st deadline for Internet safety policy revisions.
