  *   Funding Status.  Funding waves for FY 2011 and FY 2012 are scheduled for release this week.
  *   SLD Fall Training – Audits.  This is the fourth in a series of articles summarizing key information from the SLD’s fall training.  The presentation focuses on the two types of E‑rate audits, the Beneficiary and Contributor Audit Program and the Payment Quality Assurance Program.
  *   USTA/CTIA Renew Objections to USAC Guidance on LCP.  The major telecom carrier associations renewed their arguments with the FCC over SLD interpretations of the Lowest Corresponding Price requirement.
  *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The invoicing deadline for FY 2011 recurring services is October 29th.  The Form 486 deadlines for FY 2012, Wave 1-2, are November 7th and 8th.   The FCC released four more appeal decisions.  An FCC ex parte filing by Jive Communications highlights the ongoing controversy surrounding the provision of “free” VoIP handsets.
  *   Schools and Libraries News Brief Dated October 26.  The SLD’s latest News Brief continues the discussion of the use entity numbers.
