  *   Funding Status.  Funding waves are also scheduled this week for FY 2010, FY 2011, FY 2012, and FY 2013.
  *   Anatomy of a Successful FCC appeal.  The FCC, which had recently denied several appeals for applicants who had not evaluated bids using the price of eligible services as the heaviest weighted factor, approved a similar appeal last week.  The difference had a lot to do with how the successful applicant had framed its appeal.
  *   E-Rate Updates and Reminders.  The FCC also approved appeals for four other applicants.  The SLD's fall training sessions are filling up quickly.  Applicants already funded for FY 2013 may file early Form 486s by checking the Item 6a box.  The reply comment deadline on the FCC's bundled component proposal is June 7th.
  *   SLD News Brief for May 31 - Summer Planning for Vendors.  The latest News Brief lists and reviews the things service providers should be doing this summer.
