  *   Funding Status.  Funding waves for FY 2012 and FY 2013 are scheduled this week.
  *   SLD Fall Training Updates.  The SLD's fall training workshops began last week.  Aside from discussions on revised FCC forms, the presentations were largely reviews.
  *   Updates and Reminders.   The FCC is currently shutdown, but USAC remains open.  Reply E-Rate 2.0 NPRM comments are due October 16th.  The SLD's 2013 fall training workshops continue this week in Newark.
  *   SLD News Brief Dated October 4.  The SLD's latest News Brief reviews entity numbers.
