  *   Funding Status.  FY 2014 application window to open no earlier than December 23rd.  Funding waves for FY 2012 and FY 2013 are scheduled this week.
  *   FY 2014 Eligible Services List Approved.  The FCC released the final version of the FY 2014 ESL with only a few minor clarifications, particularly on web hosting.
  *   Updates and Reminders.   The deadline for FY 2012 recurring service invoices is October 28th and for early wave FY 2013 Form 486s is October 29th.  One FCC appeal decision was released last week.  The SLD's 2013 fall training workshops continue this week in Houston.  E-Rate Central will be conducting E-rate workshops in New York beginning this week. The NCDPI training sessions, scheduled throughout October, include two sessions this week.  E-Rate Central will be conducting E-rate workshops in New Mexico December 9th and 11th.
  *   SLD News Brief Dated October 25.  The SLD's latest News Brief reviews service substitutions.
