  *   Funding Status.  FY 2014 application window will close March 26th.  Funding waves for FY 2012 and FY 2013 are scheduled this week.  The Form 470 deadline for FY 2014 is this Wednesday.
  *   FCC Outreach on Forthcoming Public Notice.  The FCC has provided a preview of the public notice it expects to release shortly concerning E-rate modernization proposals to become effective FY 2015.
  *   Updates and Reminders.  Form 470s for FY 2014 must be filed by Wednesday.  Most Form 486s for FY 2013 waves 24-28 are due in February and March.  EducationSuperHighway is expected to debut an Item 21 Entry Portal later this week. The FCC released a Report on FCC Process Reform; comments are due March 31st.  An FCC decision denied 15 appeals and 2 petitions for reconsideration.
  *   SLD News Brief Dated February 21.  The SLD's latest News Brief discusses Item 24 of the newly revised Form 471.
