  *   Funding Status.  FY 2014 application window will open January 9th and close March 26th.  Funding waves are scheduled for FY 2013 this week and for FY 2012 next week.
  *   Transition to the Revised Form 470.  The new version of the Form 470 was approved and became effective last week.  The cutover creates certain problems for applicants who had started the Form 470 process prior to the change, but who had not completed the final certification step.
  *   Updates and Reminders.   Most Form 486s for FY 2013 waves 15-20 are due now through January. The FCC released two appeal decisions affecting 66 applicants.
  *   SLD News Brief Dated December 20.  The SLD's latest News Brief discusses the PQA invoice review process and the two-week holiday PIA contact deferment program.
