  *   Funding Status.  FY 2014 application window opened January 9th and will close March 26th.  Funding wave 36 for FY 2013 is scheduled this week.
  *   Additional E-Rate Funding?  FCC Chairman Wheeler's blog article hints at additional E-rate funding for FY 2014.  More information is expected February 5th.
  *   Updates and Reminders.   The FCC issued two Protective Orders related to its E-Rate 2.0 proceeding.  Form 470s for FY 2014 should be filed as soon as possible.  Most Form 486s for FY 2013 waves 20-24 are due in January and February.
  *   SLD News Brief Dated January 24.  The SLD's latest News Brief discusses the use of its online forms Training Site.
