  *   Funding Status.  FY 2014 application window will close March 26th.  Funding waves for FY 2012 and FY 2013 are scheduled this week.
  *   FCC Releases Public Notice on E-Rate Modernization.  The FCC proposes to add $2 billion in funding over the next two years, and seeks comments on proposals to replace the existing two-priority system with two separately funded categories focusing on broadband services.
  *   Updates and Reminders.  The SLD issued thousands of confusing "Form 470 but No Form 471" notices. Form 486s for Waves 26-28 are due in March.  SECA filed comments regarding the Report on FCC Process Reform.  The President's proposed 2015 budget includes additional educational technology funding. The SLD has posted a warning on the use funding data in its Search Commitments tool.
  *   SLD News Brief Dated March 7.  The SLD latest News Brief provides a number of Form 471 window reminders.
