New Local Child Death Review Teams and Safe Sleep Coalition Listening Session
New Infant Swing Recall Notice
An invitation from the Safe Sleep Oregon Coalition
Please join the Safe Sleep Oregon Coalition for a listening session Wednesday, September 14, 2022 from 9-10:30 AM by Zoom (meeting information below).
This listening session is an opportunity for you as county child death review teams to share with the Safe Sleep Oregon Coalition what you are experiencing in your communities around sleep related infant death and the identified barriers to promoting safe sleep in your communities. Information gathered from the listening session will inform the work of the Coalition and support collaboration between partners.
The Safe Sleep Oregon Coalition developed the attached recommendations and are working to strengthen the adoption of infant safe sleep practices that reduce the risk of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) and that prevent infant sleep-related deaths such as accidental infant asphyxiation and suffocation across the state. Your input is very valuable in helping to reduce SIDS in Oregon!
