New Overdose Prevention Education



OVERDOSE PREVENTION EDUCATION OPPORTUNITY AND LISTENING SESSION
OCTOBER 31
The State Child Death Review and Prevention Team, Oregon Health Authority's Injury and Violence Prevention Program, and Save Lives Oregon invite members of county child abuse fatality review teams to an overdose prevention education opportunity and listening session. The listening session will provide overviews of the Child Welfare, Prevention Review Program, Oregon's Regional Overdose Prevention Coordinators, and Save Lives Oregon, create a safe space for better understanding the experience and needs of each community in relation to overdose prevention and response, and facilitate community connections and resource sharing.


  *   Bi-directional learning opportunity - Child Fatality Reviews and local overdose prevention
  *   Save Lives Oregon - Harm reduction, fentanyl and xylazine education, Clearinghouse, Prime+
