renderers on the fly

*         REST/ GEOData access :

*         User/Role-based feature level access, let you restrict edit
access to only data that you create

*         Disconnected editing for feature services, ideal for mobile

ArcGIS Server

*         improvements for managing server clusters

*         All administration/configuration configurable via REST -
completely REST based architecture

*         64-bit only (no longer supports 32 bit)

*         can now publish directly to registered  ArcGIS Servers , push
layer definition files which contain symology, data, service info

*         single point of failure in service definition 

*         server security enabled by default, 

*         no more clearing cache between server changes..

*         if you don't want to push data to servers, you can register
your data store with the server now..
