Good morning GPL and PrepFIT partners,

See attached for the latest situation report.

>From the GIS side of things, I did do a reach-out to the Geospatial Insurance Consortium (GIC), who had provided free imagery during the fires. I'm waiting to hear back about them possibly doing a flight due to the winter storms. Unfortunately, I did hear back this morning that they are not going to be flying for the winter storms. Once again, if you have imagery that you are planning to fly or have flown for this event, please let Brady Callahan, Cy Smith, and me know.

Also, you'll notice in the notes that we are starting the damage assessment process for public assistance for the recent event. We do have an Excel spreadsheet that was sent out to state agency contacts on the emergency management side of the house for gathering this damage data to make a request for a presidential disaster declaration. While we do not have a template set up for Survey123 on this, there is one that you can use by looking in the Survey123 community options:

I know that Brady Callahan is looking to possibly use this to collect the impacts for State Parks. I will say that we will still require the excel forms to be used as that is the official method that damage assessment data is gathered for public assistance impacts. So, please work with your emergency management contacts in your agency to ensure you can provide the relevant data they need to list the impacts to your agency.
