[gpl_list] Survey123 and Dashboards - Encountering any Issues?

Hi all,

I just sent these details to Jon for him to add to his Esri ticket. Thought it may be of use to folks to see the exact issues ODF is seeing:

The following behavior is being observed for data collected since sometime after May 21 mid-day. These data have been generated through both Field Maps and desktop editing via an ArcGIS Online Experience. Seeing it in multiple feature layers and their associated views.

  *
Data will not display at certain scales within ArcGIS Pro, AGOL Web Maps, and Experiences using AGOL web maps.
     *
Scales seem to be random, and affect each feature differently. Some features will display at closer and further out scale layers, while others disappear. The data collected before mid-day on May 21 display at all scales. There are no scale dependencies set.
  *
Pop-ups do not work for some features in ArcGIS Pro, AGOL Web Maps, and Experiences using AGOL web maps. Pop-ups seem to work fine for features collected prior to May 21 mid-day.
  *
Tables do not display all records collected since that day/time, although sometimes seems to work in AGOL web map. In ArcGIS Pro, sometimes the table will first display all records, but then refresh and only show records collected prior to May 21 mid-day.
  *
Exporting the feature services into a FGDB seems to include all features. Exported data seems to work as expected, with no odd behavior on the recent data.
  *
No errors generated during the data creation process.

We are also seeing issues with publishing a Feature Service, without any editing enabled. Worked to publish a (polygon) Feature Service and received several errors. After working through the data, it does not seem to be coming from the data, but was able to get the service published. However, now the features do not draw at all scales and loading the service into ArcGIS Pro generates a drawing error.

As this is impacting data we are viewing from partners relating to the oil spill event, I’ve also reached out to Esri’s Disaster Response program for them to take a look at it from their end. Will let you know what I hear back.

Our specific issue:

Not being able to see or display any content from a dataset results layer from Survey123. I can see it in the data tab for the AGOL item, but nothing displays when adding to a webmap:

Joe at OSMB suggested this possible fix:

“for one layer I disabled editing in the hosted feature service settings,  saved, then re-enabled editing. I did this today, and it seems to be working now.”

This may not be a feasible solution and it may not address all issues, but it could possibly help under certain circumstances.

Within our open ticket with Esri, ODFW will share that many other Oregon state agencies are encountering similar issues, but it may be good for DAS-GEO to follow through on the channels you have available to elevate this.

At OSFM, we are having issues with recently collected (as in, since Wednesday) Survey123 data not appearing and behaving oddly. I also have an Esri ticket in as of this morning.

Hi Jon,

ODF is seeing the same issue with multiple services (including the Flow Line Survey Tracking System), affecting data collected over the last few days. It seems to be affecting data generated within multiple platforms (we have seen it with data collected via Field Maps and on desktop Experiences). Within ArcGIS Pro and AGOL Web Maps, these data collected in the last several days has some very odd behavior, including at certain scales the features will/will not draw, pop-ups do not work, tables adjust the number of records within the data, etc.

GPL,

Are other agencies encountering any issues with recently collected data coming in via Survey123 and that information is not loading / sorting / displaying correctly in a Dashboard?

We do have an Esri ticket open and are also aware this appears to be happening across multiple survey / programs within our department.  It would be helpful to know if there is a larger issue occurring here.

The AGOL Health Dashboard appears to be fine.
