[gpl_list] GIS and records retention

Good afternoon GPL!

I'm working with our policy person in the agency and we've been discussing the aspects of record retention and looking to further define and refine our records retention processes for data within our agency. As such, I was curious to hear how you all are dealing with records retention for your GIS files and applications. Here's a few questions that I have for you all:

  *   Do you have specific policies in place dealing with these apps and data?
  *   How do you roll off data that is outside of the records retention policies?
  *   What do you do with your applications that you've built in systems like ArcGIS Online or self hosted?
     *   How do you retain these applications?
  *   Have you been dealing with anything associated with transfer of data to the state archives?
     *   How have you handled that?
