[Hazards-fit] December 4th Hazards FIT meeting

Good afternoon Hazards FIT listserv folks,

My name is Nancy Calhoun. I work for the Oregon Department of Geology (DOGAMI) and I have volunteered to lead the Hazards FIT. I attended the last Hazards FIT meeting, which was also a joint FIT meeting with Preparedness, and look forward to meeting more of you at an upcoming meeting.

Preparedness FIT has offered to have another joint meeting with the Hazards FIT at 9 am on Tuesday, December 4th in Portland (exact location TBD- either DEQ or Portland State Office Building, both in northeast Portland in Lloyd Center).

In general, that meeting will be to:


*         Determine a path forward to creating a Hazards FIT charter, which is a priority of DAS GEO

*         Review the outcomes of the Framework Forum held in Salem on October 15th as it relates to Hazards FIT

*         Discuss the FIT Work Process and determine goals and next steps.

We will have a call in option for those who cannot make it in person. Please let me know if you have a conflict with this time and place. I will send out a meeting invitation once we decide on exact location and if there are not too many conflicts.
