Save the Date for a Public Health Informatics Brown Bag Presentation on: 
"Health Information Exchange and Meaningful Use"
 
The Public Health Informatics Workgroup presents Dr. Jay Eisenberg for a brown bag about Health Information Exchange focused on the following topics:
 
1) ARRA 'meaningful use'
2) Health Information Exchange with the EHR - Achieving 'meaningful use'
3) Health Information Standards and 
4) the role of Public Health in HIE
 
Jay Eisenberg, MD MMI, is the Chief Medical Information Officer for Southwest Washington Health System (SWHS).  Dr Eisenberg is responsible for overall direction of the design and implementation of clinical information solutions and associated applications, information standardization and compliance with ARRA policy and standards.
