Hello Oregon Public Health Association (OPHA) Health Education & Promotion
section members, M/CHES registrants and friends,

I hope you will be joining us for the conference next week, Monday, October
8th and Tuesday, October 9th in Corvallis. One of the key note speakers is
Dr. Richard Jackson, host and co-author of *Designing Healthy Communities*.
His presentation will focus on how the 'built environment' affects health.
For more information about the conference and to download the conference
program, please go to:

and promoters; learn about expanding professional and educational
opportunities in Oregon, including ways you can be involved in our section.

*2) **Tuesday, October 9th *

*1:45pm – 3:00pm Concurrent Sessions #5*

If you’ve been on the fence about whether or not to get certified, you’ll

outer east Portland. Through community collaboration, the clinic is
striving to address not just health care, but also the social determinants
of health. Join us in the Agriculture Leaders room (LaSells Stewart) for
