> This position will be responsible for coordination of data collection, management, and analyses related to Washington’s FINI program. FINI supports project that aim to increase the purchase of fruits and vegetables among consumers participating in the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) by providing incentives at the point-of-purchase in farmers markets and grocery stores. This position will work closely with members of the DOH FINI workgroup. This group is comprised of partners within DOH and at the Department of Social and Health Services, local health jurisdictions, and members of the private sector, including clinics and retail locations. This position will also work closely with other entities involved in FINI data collection and evaluation, including USDA’s national FINI evaluator (Westat), University of Washington Center for Public Health Nutrition, and, as needed, other reporting agencies. The work achieved through this position contributes to the general knowledge base for directing DOH and HEAL programmatic activities related to increasing access to healthy food.
