> The Public Health Division’s Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention Section (HPCDP) is seeking a full-time Research Analyst 3 to help quantify and describe tobacco use, physical activity and eating behaviors, chronic diseases, and community conditions that influence the health of Oregon’s population. In this role, you will join a team of dedicated professionals tackling some of Oregon’s greatest health challenges within the state’s public health system.

> Today, nutritious food, places to play and be active, and smokefree air are out of reach for too many Oregonians, particularly for people of color and people living with fewer financial resources. As a result, chronic diseases such as asthma, heart disease, diabetes, arthritis, and cancer are on the rise. HPCDP is tackling chronic disease prevention with a community-wide approach to help people eat better, move more, live tobacco free, and take care of themselves.

> Experience conducting complex data analyses using Stata, SAS, SUDAAN, SPSS or other statistical software.

> Experience balancing a variety of assignments.
> Demonstrated good verbal and written communication skills.
