[HealthyTribes] Media Opportunity: Celebrate Outdoor Policies

Hello,

With the Fourth of July successfully celebrated, we Oregonians can
officially begin our summer. For many this means getting outdoors, whether
to a park, county fair, farmer's market, festival, beach, forest or concert.
And thanks to great policy advocacy, residents can enjoy being outside free
of tobacco.  

Now that summer is really here, it is a great opportunity to celebrate the
growing outdoor policy trend by sharing stories with the media.

Attached please find a media release template for your use. It is meant to
be customized to showcase the great work that is happening in your own
community. 

You will see we have inserted questions and suggestions to help you shape
the release and we have provided language that highlights recent wins
throughout the state.

Please let me know if you have questions. We are also happy to help you
brainstorm story ideas, strategies and media outlets.
