Hi all,

We have postponed the launch of the campaign by one week, to Tuesday, Nov. 8. We are still finalizing sponsorships with key partners, which has delayed the production process of some of the materials. We think it's important to send you good, final materials for you to work with and, for that reason, made the decision to postpone the launch.

We know many of you likely reserved time to pitch the story this week. We recommend you still use that time to prepare for the launch. Here are two things you might consider doing this week:

  * Identify people in your community who can serve as local spokespeople. These can be people who have survived the cancer, had polyps removed or had a family member who was affected by the cancer. They can also be people who were screened just because they knew it was the smart thing to do.
  * In the toolkit (which you will receive in its entirely in the next day or two), there are two customizable Letters to the Editor (see attached). Consider customizing one or both of these based on the experiences of your local spokespeople and have them ready to submit as soon as your local media cover the launch of the campaign.
As mentioned above, in the next two days you will receive the toolkit. Members of the Metropolitan Group team will also be reaching out to you to discuss its contents and what the campaign might look like in your communities.

In the meantime, please contact me with any questions. We look forward to working with you on this campaign and are already very excited by your enthusiasm!

Thank you!
Kiernan
