Hello,
Here is current information related to the Oregon Tobacco Quit Line. Below I have highlighted information and websites that have been recently updated.
Best, Beth
· The Quit Line is open twenty four hours a day, seven days a week
· 1-800-QUIT-NOW (1-800-784-8669), www.quitnow.net/oregon/<https://www.quitnow.net/oregon/>
· Español: 1-855-DÉJELO-YA (1-855-335-35692), https://www.quitnow.net/oregonsp/ Note: there is intentionally an extra digit in this number - it does correctly link to the QL.
· TTY: 1-877-777-6534
Current Quit Line Benefits
· Insured - Health plan or Coordinated Care Organization (CCO) offers Quit Line benefit
o Members receive what the plan covers, typically 4-5 counseling calls and Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT)
· Underinsured - Health Plan or CCO does not offer Quit Line benefit
o Members receive 1 counseling call, 2 weeks of NRT
· Uninsured
o 4 counseling calls, 2 weeks of combined NRT (patch and gum)
