The November Required TPEP webinar is coming up next week and will be offered twice. We recognize that the topic (Tobacco Point of Sale Policy Options) may not be relevant for some of you, so this webinar will be optional for tribal grantees. We will hold a December tribal call that will be required and we will use this as a venue to discuss tribal-specific topics. This training will describe the tobacco point of sale (POS) environment and explain why it is an important focal point for tobacco prevention and control activities. The training will also provide an overview of policy options to limit tobacco industry influence at the POS and highlight available assessment tools for collection of local POS data.
