Hello Coordinators,

Tomorrow morning the CDC is releasing a MMWR on tobacco product use among middle and high school-aged kids. This year's data has expanded to include many flavored tobacco products, including: e-cigs, hookah, dissolvables and Snuz. We are working to place a story in the Oregonian and relate it to the attached talking points that are Oregon specific. We are also sending the talking points out to you in case you are called by reporters or would like to pro-actively pitch. We will send along the CDC products when they become available tomorrow.

The CDC release and talking points complement our Tobacco Industry Denormalization campaign on SmokefreeOregon.com and Smokefree Oregon Facebook page. Please help us expand our campaign reach by sharing, commenting and liking our Facebook posts. We need everyone to pitch-in to make this campaign a success.

Thanks!

Holly
