Hello Coordinators,

We are busy designing the new SmokeFree Oregon website that we hope to launch in the first part of July.  Some of you participated in a recent call to discuss the website, specifically the call to action or the "What can I do?" section.  Those who participated agreed that a clear call to action should be to contact the local TPEP coordinator.  This will be a direct line to you from people in your community joining the SmokeFree movement, giving you an opportunity to channel support as you see fit.

We have been thinking about what this should look like, and we think that it would be very powerful if your contact information is attached to your own inspiring story about why you do what you do.  In order to include your story we ask that you provide the following to Holly Heiberg at Holly.Heiberg at state.or.us<mailto:Holly.Heiberg at state.or.us> .

*         Contact Information - by early week of 6/9

o   Full and last name

o   Title

o   Email address and/or phone number - whichever you're comfortable us posting as public information

o   Photo of yourself and a couple sentences to use as a quote about why you dedicate some of your work on reducing the harmful impacts of tobacco in your community



*         If possible, a 15-20 second video clip of you stating why you dedicate some of your work on reducing the harmful impacts of tobacco in your community - We will post any that we have available already by 6/23 for the initial launch date, others will be added after that point

o   A sample video will be sent to you as an example to use as a guide within the next couple of weeks
