Good Afternoon,

On May 11th, from 11:00 am -12:30 pm, the Statewide CCO Learning Collaborative will focus on clinical and community interventions to reduce tobacco use. The first half of the learning collaborative will include four presenters from around the state that will share successes that their CCOs and LPHAs have had in reducing tobacco use in their communities.

Presentation: Clinical Strategy (11:05 to 11:25)

*         Willamette Valley Community Health changes to cessation drug benefit formulary (Kathryn Lueken, MD, WVCH)

*         Collaborative work between Douglas and Coos County and Advantage Dental (Marilyn Carter, MD, ADAPT)


Presentation: Community Strategy (11:25 to 11:45)

*         CCO and public health partnership to reduce tobacco use among county residents (Sara Hartstein, MPH, Benton County, Kevin Ewanchyna, MD, IHN-CCO)

*         Trillium and Lane County Public Health's partnership for cessation and prevention (Jennifer Webster, MPH, CHES, Lane County)
