Governor Kate Brown signed SB 754 into law last Wednesday, raising the minimum legal age for purchasing tobacco, inhalant delivery systems, and tobacco delivery products from 18 to 21.

Attached please find a press release template, which you can customize for your tribe. This is a great earned media opportunity!

As always, please work within your organizational structure to customize, review and approve the press release. This may include working with a Public Information Officer, Manager, and/or Administrator.
