Hello Tribal TPEP and ADPEP partners!

Following up from the Oregon AI/AN Commercial Tobacco Quit Line Webinar that took place on July 22, 2019, the following items are now available for access on HPCDP connection under the Tribal Tobacco Cessation section (https://www.oregon.gov/oha/PH/DISEASESCONDITIONS/CHRONICDISEASE/HPCDPCONNECTION/TOBACCO/Pages/TribalPolicy.aspx):


  1.  Oregon's AI/AN Commercial Tobacco Quit Line Program Webinar Recording - This webinar provides an overview of the Oregon AI/AN Commercial Tobacco Quit Line Program, which began in March 2019. Specifically, this webinar shares information on the participant experience when they call the AI/AN quit line program, and discusses how the intake and intervention differs from the general Oregon Tobacco Quit Line program.
  2.  Oregon's AI/AN Commercial Tobacco Quit Line Program Webinar Questions and Answers - this document provides a list of questions and answers that were asked during Oregon's AI/AN Commercial Tobacco Quit Line Program Webinar.
  3.  Oregon Tobacco Quit Line Resources -

     *   American Indian Booklet Life Matters - This is a printed resource provided to AI/AN commercial tobacco users to help them quit commercial tobacco.
     *   Oregon Tobacco Quit Line Quit Guide - This is a printed resource provided to anyone who calls the Oregon Tobacco Quit Line to help tobacco users quit and stay quit.
     *   Quitting Smokeless Tobacco Guide - This is a printed resource provided to anyone who calls the Oregon Tobacco Quit Line that is currently using smokeless tobacco and provides a guide to help them quit and stay quit.

  1.  Electronic referrals to the Oregon Tobacco Quit Line - this section provides information on both fax and electronic referrals to the Oregon Tobacco Quit Line, including a "How-To" 1-pager on setting up electronic referrals to the Oregon Tobacco Quit Line with your health systems partners.
