[HealthyTribes] Place Matters 2020 is canceled

[Place Matters Conference]

It is with deep regret that we announce Place Matters 2020, originally planned for October 27-28, 2020, has been canceled.

The unfolding coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has significantly affected the way we work, meet and connect - our lives and livelihoods.

The Health Promotion and Chronic Disease Prevention section (HPCDP) is in conversation with the Oregon Health Authority-Public Health Division (OHA-PHD) Director's Office about how to collaboratively plan the next Place Matters Conference. We are considering a few possible dates for the summer of 2021 and will announce the new dates and location once they are confirmed.

Again, we are deeply sorry about not being able to host our conference this year.  We wish good health to you and your loved ones.
