Hello Tribal TPEP Programs,

We know many of you are busy supporting your Tribal community's COVID 19 response. You may be concerned about how this may impact your Tribal TPEP work. We acknowledge that the constraints around social distancing and the COVID 19 community response has created real challenges to convene community partners and decision makers to move work forward. During this uncertain time, we understand that planned activities need to remain fluid and timelines may need to be extended. Knowing each Tribal TPEP program is impacted differently, we also want to be clear that we are available to strategize and support moving your work forward during this time, given your program capacity.

Many people in our communities are also likely considering how they can quit commercial tobacco right now given the fear and concerns around this disease. We are here to help support your Native Quit Line promotional campaigns, and we will be reaching out over the next several weeks to check in and offer support. Thank you for all your efforts to promote the new service, as well as guide community members toward in person cessation services offered through your Tribal health programs!

For the most up to date information about COVID 19, please continue to check our website healthoregon.org/coronavirus.

We appreciate all you are doing to make sure our Tribal communities throughout Oregon stay safe and receive the critical services and care they need.

Very best,
