Greetings everyone,
The Oregon Health Authority Tobacco Retail Licensure (TRL) program is seeking volunteers to serve on a Rules Advisory Committee to advise on the program's rules revision, click here<https://www.oregon.gov/oha/PH/PREVENTIONWELLNESS/TOBACCOPREVENTION/Pages/state-rules-and-statutes.aspx> to see the current program rules. We are making minor revisions to the overall TRL rules, as well as refining the meaning of "packaged in a manner attractive to minors" regarding inhalant delivery systems, also known as e-cigarettes.
We are asking community partners to serve as members on this Rules Advisory Committee and we are especially looking for people from communities that will be affected most by these rules, such as tobacco retailers and members of communities that have been targeted by the commercial tobacco industry.
The Rules Advisory Committee will meet in mid-late July 2023, to inform Oregon Health Authority's tobacco retail license rules revision. This process will take up to 3 hours and the meeting will be held virtually.
