Oregon Heritage/SHPO email change tonight! Please update your email address books!
Oregon Heritage/SHPO staff emails will be unavailable the night of Nov. 9 as we changeover staff emails from @oregon.gov to @oprd.oregon.gov.
We ask that you please update your email address books. Staff will still receive emails sent to @oregon.gov and no end date has yet to be determined but it would be good to update your address books immediately.
We will be updating the www.oregonheritage.org<http://www.oregonheritage.org> website with the new emails the evening of Nov. 9. Changing the emails on our documents will take time so we ask that you be patient as we work on that into the new year.
As a reminder, you can find Oregon Heritage/SHPO staff contact information by visiting the "Contact Us<https://www.oregon.gov/oprd/OH/Pages/Staff-Directory.aspx>" page or by looking on the right side of the page if you are on a service or program page.

Capitol History Gateway Exhibit Sponsorship Program
The Oregon State Capitol has long displayed exhibits from entities throughout the state. In the last five years, through the Capitol History Gateway (CHG) Program, the exhibits have become more focused on telling stories specific to Oregon history and many have had ties interwoven with democracy or government. This year, the Oregon State Capitol Foundation (OSCF), who helps fund the CHG, has offered to support cultural and heritage museums wanting to tell their stories with an exhibit at the Capitol.
The Capitol's Visitor Services Department produces the CHG program, including events and exhibits, and will be administrating this funding opportunity. For this first sponsorship cycle, the OSCF will provide funding up to $5,000 per museum or organization, for up to five entities, for a maximum sponsorship of $25,000.
Details about the funding opportunity and an application can be found at https://bit.ly/3E0N0BO. The deadline to apply for funding is 11:59 p.m. January 31, 2022.
For more information, call Stacy Nalley, Public Outreach Coordinator at the Oregon State Capitol Visitor Services Department, 503-986-1392.
