Washington, DC- Upon further review, the Institute of Museum and Library Services has reinstated all federal grants. This action supersedes any prior notices which may have been received related to grant termination.
Grantees should access the agency's electronic grants management system for further information.

Oregon Heritage Exchange blog features newly re-opened Oregon Military Museum
After a seventeen year closure, the Oregon Military Museum opened to the general public in July of 2025. Kathleen Sligar, OMM's Director/Curator, and her team went through many iterations of exhibit materials, reviewing storylines, and navigating challenging policy changes to arrive at the exhibits that exist today. City of Portland Seeking Historic and Cultural Resources Compliance Coordinator
The City of Portland is hiring a Historic and Cultural Resources Compliance Coordinator to serve as a citywide expert on state and federal historic and cultural resource requirements. Working under the general direction of a supervisor, and in partnership with the City's Historic Resources Program Manager, the compliance coordinator will lead efforts to create consistent citywide practices for complying with state and federal laws. This role requires strong independent judgment, effective collaboration, and the ability to negotiate solutions to complex historic and cultural resource issues.
