Training participants will leave this Train-the-Trainer course with the information needed to train others at their organizations. You will:
Get comfortable with the suggested training protocols (as covered in videos)
Learn additional material beyond the recommended protocol
Learn more about the logistics of starting a naloxone program (ordering supplies, storage, data collection, etc)
HOW TO GET NALOXONE (or Narcan):
Community-based organizations in Multnomah, Washington or Clackamas County that complete this course can purchase discounted naloxone (Narcan) through the Multnomah County Health Department Pharmacy at approximately $70 per 2-dose box. If you would like to order naloxone through this program, please complete the attached forms (1) Naloxone Registration Form (for your organization) and (2) Enrollment Form for each individual listed on the registration form. Send completed copies via email to Kelsi.Junge at Multco.us <mailto:Kelsi.Junge at Multco.us>
We will also discuss additional avenues for obtaining Narcan or Naloxone for your organization.
