Training participants will leave this Train-the-Trainer course with the information needed to train others at their organizations. You will:
1.       Get comfortable with the suggested training protocols (as covered in videos)
2.       Learn additional material beyond the recommended protocol
3.       Learn more about the logistics of starting a naloxone program (ordering supplies, storage, data collection, etc)

HOW TO GET NALOXONE (or Narcan):

Organizations in Multnomah, Washington or Clackamas County that complete this course can purchase discounted naloxone (Narcan) through the Multnomah County Health Department Pharmacy. Public service and non-profit Organizations in Multnomah, Washington or Clackamas County may also be eligible to receive supplies at no-cost to your program through a limited project funded by CareOregon. We will also discuss additional avenues for obtaining Narcan or Naloxone for your organization.
