Description:
The rates of many Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) – especially syphilis – are rising at an alarming rate across Indian Country. To empower American Indian and Alaskan Native (AI/AN) people to take care of their sexual health, The Indian Health Service's National HIV/HCV/STI Program<https://www.ihs.gov/hivaids/>, The Northwest Portland Area Indian Health Board<http://www.npaihb.org/>, The Southern Plains Tribal Health Board<https://spthb.org/>, The Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health<https://cih.jhu.edu/>, and I Want the Kit (IWTK) at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine<https://iwantthekit.org/> partnered to create an Indigenous brand for the IWTK service. IWTK is a free, accurate, confidential at-home test kit for STIs. This project is funded through the Indian Health Service with backing from the Minority HIV/AIDS Fund.
This campaign is designed to:
* Increase access to STI testing services for AI/AN people
* Support AI/AN youth and adults to conveniently and confidentially take control of their sexual health
The campaign offers:
* A variety of traditional print materials, like posters, flyers, and tip cards
* Creative outreach solutions like condom wrapper designs, paper napkin designs, and beverage coaster designs
